Chu; Starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jeff Goldblum) The Broadway riff on *The Wizard of Oz* from the Wicked Witch’s perspective undergoes the splashy Hollywood treatment. It’s on track to make some *Barbie* money even though, Goldblum excluded, it has the worst casting we’ve seen in a while. *Now playing in theaters.*

Michelangelo Antonioni; Starring Steve Cochran) The Italian filmmaking legend’s breakthrough finds a small town sugar refinery worker coping with his dwindling romantic and economic opportunities as he drifts through rural villages.
