Events for the Week of November 2nd
Good morning everyone! I hope you all are recovering nicely from the coalescing forces of Halloween festivities and government mandated time changes. My weekly playlist is particularly chill this week, you can listen to it here.
Tonight, there is a lovely indie-folk bill over at The East Room with Running Late, Foxtooth and Mal McCormick and Steve Lacy is headlining Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
On Tuesday night, Nashville's Troubadour Blue return to Station Inn and celtic jazz-rock collective, the olllam, are playing at The Basement East. The 3-year Anniversary of Steel Guitar Jam will be taking place at Eastside Bowl, which I'm super excited to check out. It's free, all ages and starts at 4p.
Dwight Yoakam plays Ryman Auditorium both Wednesday and Thursday; and indie folk-rock band Deer Tick are playing The Basement East on Thursday.
If you are needing to see a Harry Potter film along with a live orchestra— you are in luck because Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: In Concert with the Nashville Symphony is slated Friday through Sunday at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
Dave Matthews Band will perform at Bridgestone Arena on Friday. Alt-country singer-songwriter Dead Gowns will be playing DRKMTTR on Saturday.
